emily and ben’s wedding
Emily and Ben’s wedding ceremony and reception were held at Chambar restaurant here in Vancouver.
Not only was the food absolutely exquisite (I don’t think it would be fair to even include it in the category of wedding food), but it was also a wonderfully enchanting setting for Wayne to photograph the beautiful couple, their beautiful wedding party and their beautiful guests (really, I don’t know if I’ve seen so many gorgeous people in one place before!)
Ben and Emily really are such a lovely couple in all senses of the word, and it was an absolutely delightful celebration.

How did I ring in the new year? With a wedding in the snow! Congrats to Angela and Ash… what a great and fun couple!
Yes, this is Vancouver, and for some reason we got a huge dump of snow. The morning started at the Granville Island Hotel where everyone was getting ready…

One of my favourite beers is Kitsilano Maple Cream Ale from Granville Island Brewing. Seems somehow fitting that the guys are enjoying some brewsky on the big day. Note that this photo was taken before any consumption of the aforementioned beverage… 
Beautiful… need I say more? Actually, I will say more… Ang reminds me of Audrey Hepburn… beautiful and classy.
Not only do these look good… but are also the best cupcakes I’ve ever tasted. That raspberry or whatever filling was a delectable suprise…
Cheers to the new couple! Monk McQueens was a brillant choice for the reception… great ambiance and the food was incredible!
Ah… the quintessential cake in the face. Ha, ha, I still love it!
